All you need to learn the art of macrame is two hands and some rope. In this workshop, you will create a large scale wall hanging that utilizes the most important knots in macrame- the double half hitch, square knot, larks heads knots, overhand knots, and half square knots. Once you learn these skills, you will be able to create all sorts of macrame projects on your own.
Each student will leave class with a completed wall hanging, ready to adorn their walls. Wall hangings measure at least 10" x 20"
Jennie will provide dowels and thick 5mm cotton cord to knot with. Students will leave with an instruction packet and a quick guide to macrame, which includes directions for other knots and techniques not covered in class.
Wear clothes you can get paint on.
Everyone is welcome
Adults, young people welcome with an adult.
